South Africa Tour 1993

Poly toured South Africa in March 1993. This was a fantastic tour with Poly receiving great hospitality from the host teams.

We toured and played in Johannesburg, the East Rand, Pretoria, Durban, East London, Port Elizabeth and the beautiful city of Cape Town.

The more refined palates joined John Clark as he bought half of South Africa's annual wine production. Running out of petrol on the way back to Cape Town meant pushing the minibus through some dangerous countryside (but not quite as dangerous as Jez's driving).
